Jennifer Lawrence's Golden Globes after-party dress was Sartorial Sunshine
In no particular order, here are the highlights of the 2024 Golden Globes: Margot Robbie dressing up as Barbie (again!) ), Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet getting intimate in public, Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift's mid-show gossip fiasco, and, of course, our favorite stars getting their deserved trophies. But the fun didn't stop after the awards ceremony. Jennifer Lawrence's Golden Globes after-party dress was another highlight.
Nominated for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy Film for "No Hard Feelings," Lawrence ultimately did not win (did you hear what Lawrence said to the camera when her category was announced?) But who needs trophies when you can dress like a trophy?
In a photo of the stars leaving the Golden Globes after-party at the Chateau Marmont, Lawrence wore a gold floor-length maxi gown with a draped cowl neckline; JLAW wore a cheetah-print coat to the after party, which closed out the party. The yellow base of her animal print coat further accentuated the gold hue of her velvet gown.
Lawrence adorned her fabulous after-party gown with Manolo Blahnik's black strappy "Chaos Sandals."
That evening, Lawrence wore a dark blue velvet Dior gown, while JLaw accessorized her daring gown with a pair of Tiffany jewelry blue diamond earrings and a stunning diamond necklace with a large teardrop stone. adorned the look. She carried a Dior silver clutch bag and wore pointed-toe Aquazzara pumps.
As one would expect from a friendly star, Lawrence had many hilarious and heartwarming moments at the awards ceremony. She reunited with fellow "Hunger Games" star Lenny Kravitz for a much-anticipated Katniss and Cinna moment. And despite being in the same category as Emma Stone, Lawrence had the kindest and most enthusiastic reaction to her friend, who won for her starring role in Yorgos Lanthimos' Poor Things.
Although she did not get the trophy, it was a great night for the actress. And for my part, I can't wait to see what Lawrence will be wearing at the upcoming Academy Awards in March 2024.
