Margot Robbie and Emily Blunt Keep Birbenheimer Alive in Matching Outfits at the Governor's Awards

Margot Robbie and Emily Blunt pulled off some hilarious and surprising moves at the 2024 Governors Awards on Tuesday.

In a move that can only be considered highly coordinated, the Barbie and Oppenheimer respective stars wore matching outfits to the red carpet event, keeping the "Barbenheimer" craze alive.

They both showed up in floor-length black gowns with V-shaped open necklines and dazzling diamantes. They also both wore their blonde hair down and lightly curled to enhance the "double look" effect.

Robbie, as reported by WWD, paired her Manolo Blahnik shoes with Fred Leighton diamond jewelry in a dress with Celine cutouts and simpler X-shaped embellishments.

Blunt, on the other hand, wore a similar gown with no cutouts and more intricate crystal embellishments. Her dress was by Miu Miu and was adorned with diamond jewelry by Tiffany & Co.

Commenting on the actresses' matching each other's looks (which, again, I highly suspect they did intentionally), one fan wrote on Twitter, "Emily Blunt and Margot Robbie are literally twins and so funny"

, It's a nickname given to this summer's double-bill of events, with two blockbuster movies, "Barbie" and "Oppenheimer," opening on the same day. People were torn between going to see one or the other, or both, and it was a big deal.

It is good to see that the two leads kept the fun going!
