Over the years, Zoë Kravitz has reigned as the "it" girl of fashion. From her days in High Fidelity to her casual dates with her current fiancé, Channing Tatum, Kravitz has a "je ne sais quoi" that makes everything she touches even cooler. So imagine my gasp when this 35-year-old actor was spotted last night carrying a handbag that we already know is the hottest trend of 2024: at a girls' night out with Taylor Swift, Kravitz was carrying an oversized, "dreadfully large" tote bag.

In case you're just now coming across the news, Kravitz was photographed Wednesday evening having a night out with the girls in New York City-the "girls" being none other than Blake Lively and Swift (Kravitz attended the singer's birthday party last month (His friendship with the singer must be especially strong, since he attended the singer's birthday party last month). The trio spent time over wine and dine at Manhattan hotspot Lucille's. While her blonde besties Lively and Swift wore coatless itty-bitty minis, Kravitz followed suit in an ankle-length beige jacket. Much of her attire was not revealed, except that she was wearing a matching scarf, chocolate brown pants, and black boots.

Kravitz's outfit may not have been the most groundbreaking look she's worn recently, but years of cementing the cool-girl vibe have served her well style-wise. The Batman star has learned that subtle details can elevate a basic look (and probably have a hefty price tag in her closet). That's why when scanning the standouts in Kravitz's GNO ensemble, our eyes return to the pop of color she added to an otherwise neutral look: a large forest green tote bag with a black strap slung over her wrist.

Maybe it's the inner detective in us, but after seeing this photo, we can't stop scratching our heads about what the heck is in her tote bag. Given that it has so much space and is chock full of her A-list status and schedule, one can only assume that Kravitz brought her entire life to the dinner. Cosmetics for makeup application? A laptop? Or perhaps a ...... 'chunky over-ear headphones' (as you can see, curiosity is seriously killing me)
