Jackie and Marshall together after "Love is Blind"?
Jacquelina "Jackie" Bonds, a 27-year-old dental assistant on "Love is Blind" Season 4, while in the pod, was "choosing between Marshall Glaze, a 27-year-old marketing manager, or Josh Demas, a 31-year-old project engineer. I was really conflicted". In the end, Jackie chose Marshall because she felt that Josh did not support her when she was having trouble making a decision. 'Marshall is a better fit for me,' she said. 'He can be emotional. He responds to my pain and my attitude. He basically knows how to make sure I'm feeling good and firm."
[2They got engaged and had a sweet first meeting after the pod, and Jackie joked with the rest of the "Love Is Blind" Season 4 cast in Mexico that she and Marshall were quickly connected physically. But then things got bumpy, and from the trailers for the rest of the season, it looks like it will get even bumpier.
Jackie and Marshall seemed to bond right away in the pod, and Marshall later said that Jackie was the only one who stayed with him the entire time he was in the pod. Of course, part of the LIB process is to speed-date with more than one person at a time, and Jackie became torn between Marshall and Josh, the project engineer. When it becomes clear that Josh is also infatuated with Jackie, Marshall fights for her and makes his interests and the life he wants to build with her clear. Eventually, Jackie also decides to tie the knot with Marshall.
The two later become engaged, and when they actually meet in Mexico, they hit it off immediately. By the end of their trip to Mexico, they are firmly bonded and seem determined to make their relationship work in the real world.
However, Jackie is worried about returning to real life and outside pressures during the trip, and on one of their dates in Mexico, she confesses to Marshall that she recognizes that he is a good person for her, but worries that she will return to her old ways and push him away She confesses that she is afraid he will revert to his old ways and push him away. That night, Jackie breaks down and begins to cry, saying that she "has to go back" to the house and that she has "so many people to take care of." Marshall comforts and supports her all the way until she breaks down crying, distancing himself at her request, and she opens up to him again. During the rest of their vacation, the two have a good time, but they have a conversation about what would happen in the real world.
After LIB's premiere, Jackie revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly (opens in new tab) that she had something at home that she could not ignore during her time on the show.
"My dad is sick," she said. 'Every weekend when I go home, I have to take care of my dad. I make sure my parents are doing well and that the bills are being paid. He can't work anymore. Family always comes first. And now that my brother is out of jail, it's like I have another person I have to take care of."
"My life is not for those who can't support me, and I just want them to understand my life and know that this will always be a part of mine. Because at that time, Marshall didn't feel like he was up to par with all of the realities that I was facing back home."
Judging by the trailers for the upcoming show (open in new tab), the couple will have a rough time when they return to Seattle. In one clip, Jackie says during a fight You didn't want to sit here and talk. Marshall replies, " What else do you want me to do?"
"Sit in my feelings and sleep next to the person who said, 'I'm not man enough.'"Josh also comes back at some point and says to Jackie in one clip. "
Instagram clues for couples this season are sparse, but one notable clue for Jackie and Marshall is that they do not follow each other; their Instagram posts between the time of filming of season 4 (around April-May 2022) and the show's premiere are few and far between, but this may be the result of a recent scrub to remove any hints about their relationship status. What we do know is that the teaser video does not show the two among the couples going up to the altar.
