Are Brett and Tiffany together after "Love is Blind"?
Every season of Love is Blind features an all-star couple, a couple that makes it to the altar with little doubt whether they can say yes at the end and make viewers truly believe in the premise of the reality show as long as they are on screen. So far, there has been no match to rival the show's standard pair of intents, Lauren Speed and Cameron Hamilton. Then came Tiffany Pennywell and Brett Brown from "Love is Blind" Season 4.
The 37-year-old client lead recruiter and 36-year-old design director are the kind of couple you can't help but root for, having hit it off immediately in the first episode of this season. While some viewers may wish for a full season 4 broadcast to mainline the drama, I wish Brett and Tiffany all the best and hope they live happily ever after. To curb your impatience, read everything we know about the two so far, including hints as to whether or not they made it past the altar.
When Brett and Tiffany meet in the pod, it is clear that they share the same life and romantic goals, and they hit it off immediately; they quickly develop a conversation and seem to give their all to each other rather than exploring other connections. There are sweet moments, such as when Brett gives Tiffany a pair of shoes he designed for the first time, and when Tiffany emotionally supports Brett when he confides in her about his deceased brother.
Their relationship hits its first stumbling block in a touching moment in the pod when Brett confesses his love to Tiffany and does not receive a response. Brett is confused by Tiffany's sudden quiet for several minutes and eventually leaves the pod. But Tiffany did not reject Brett's confession; she fell asleep! After he left, two fellow contestants had to wake her up, and she later told Tudum (open in new tab) that she was so nervous she didn't sleep a wink the next night.
"I was so scared, I don't think I slept at all that night after I woke up," she said, noting that she knew at the time that "it takes time for Britt to open up. I was like, 'I just ruined the moment.' There were good people here and all I had to do was stay awake."
Thankfully, Brett understood when I explained that Tiffany had a history of falling asleep at the worst possible time. After she apologized at the beginning of their next date, which ended with Brett getting down on one knee and Tiffany saying yes, their love story continued throughout their trip to Mexico, and after the first episode, they were ready to explore their relationship in the real world.
Netflix has practiced not giving out hints of their relationship on social media for three seasons now, so poking around Brett's (open in new tab) and Tiffany's (open in new tab) Instagrams doesn't turn up much. the two are now co-stars in this season's other follow each other, as do several others. Brett also cross-follows several of Tiffany's friends who are not on the show, suggesting that he and his fiancée are at least leaving the show on good terms.
Brett also shared an emotional statement to his followers earlier this month after the season 4 cast was announced. While noting that he was anxious in the face of breaking news, he also wrote, "I really can't wait to relive this experience and let you all see my journey."
While Brett and Tiffany seem destined to tie the knot for now, trailers for the rest of the season hint that some drama will occur after the wedding day. In one clip, Brett is dressed in a wedding tuxedo and says, "Today should be a day with no surprises. This should not happen."
This could either be a sign that their relationship is facing too many hardships outside the "Love Is Blind" bubble, or a fake-out to keep Brett Schipper on his toes. I hope it is the latter.
