With Lindsay Lohan Making a Comeback, Lacey Chabert Will "Definitely" Do a "Mean Girls" Reboot

Today we have another star who just can't say no to a new "Mean Girls" movie.

Lacey Chabert, who played Gretchen Weiners in the classic rom-com and then went on to star in the Hallmark rom-com to great success, had just appeared on "The Tonight Show" starring Jimmy Fallon.

The host immediately informed her that he had just cast fellow "Mean Girls" actress Lindsay Lohan in the film and that she had said she would not object to another movie (Lohan's exact words were, "I think it's in Tina Fey's hands.")

The actress was then asked if she would be willing to do the same for "The Tonight Show.

Without hesitation, the actress replied, "I don't know. I want to know where they are now, what they're doing, whether their children are the new Mean Girls, what they're doing."

Fallon concluded, "Tina, if you're watching, let's do it, yeah."

This is "Mean Girls" (and Hallmark!) star Jonathan Bennett told an interviewer, "My dream and goal is to do a Christmas movie with (Lindsay) Lohan and reunite during the holiday season. I think it would be a lot of fun!" He said. (This comes amid the success of Lohan's new Netflix film, Falling for Christmas.)

Bennett added, "I'll do 'Jingle Bell Rock' with her in the movie."

So, Tina Fey, if you're reading this, I'm thinking: a Christmas-themed sequel to "Mean Girls"? Sounds good."

I hope Lohan takes the time for this "Mean Girls" as Jamie Lee Curtis single-handedly paved the way for the "Freaky Friday" sequel. ......

Anyway, back to Chabert, who admitted to Fallon that he is always being told about the "fetch" in "Mean Girls."

"Yeah, every day of my life," she said.

"Yeah, people say, 'Oh, that's so fetching. I went to pick up a prescription recently because I wasn't feeling well, and the pharmacist said, 'Oh, you don't look so well today.'"

That's... It's a lot, but at least she thinks it's funny, which is nice.
