Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake tied the knot in 2012.

The 7th Heaven actress turned 40 and appeared on TODAY with Hoda & Jenna to discuss being married for 10 years and she had so much great life and love wisdom to impart.

First, the hosts asked Beale about her and Timberlake's decision to have a vow renewal on their 10-year wedding anniversary.

"We did! Vow renewal sounds like a big deal, doesn't it? She explained. [It was very intimate and very small. With a couple of our friends, we literally could barely put this thing together.

"We almost cancelled and we were like, 'This is so stupid to do this. Wow, we're being really nice ... We're going to keep doing this, look at us!" I felt like, "I'm so happy to be a part of this.

Co-host Hoda Kotb then asked Beale what the relationship was like after all these years, and her answer was one word: beautiful.

"I feel like it's a combination of being incredibly secure and having a deep understanding of the other person, but also being adventurous and curious about each other as a couple, as individuals, and about the world."

"I mean, you have to keep trying to keep it fresh."

Beale also described how she maintains her relationship with her husband. Justin always said, 'We can't stop dating. We have to keep dating.' He always says that, and he's right."

She added, "You have to go on date nights and take time for yourself. It's very hard. I'm trying to take my own advice, I'm not good at it and I'm still working on finding that balance in my life"
