Jonathan Bennett of "Mean Girls" wants to shoot a Christmas movie with Lindsay Lohan.

'Tis the season for nostalgia. [Just as Kate Hudson and Kathryn Hahn had the cutest reunion in "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days," Jonathan Bennett is also in for an epic reunion with his "Mean Girls" co-star Lindsay Lohan. (Bennett played Cady Heron's love interest, the famous Aaron Samuels, in the 2004 cult classic.)

At Hallmark's "Countdown to Christmas" event in New York City, Bennett told People, "My dream and goal is to do a Christmas movie with (Lindsay) Lohan and reunite for the holidays. I think it would be so much fun!"

Bennett told People.

Is that an exaggeration?

"I'm going to do 'Jingle Bell Rock' with her in the movie," Bennett added. I would... I would literally give anything to see this."

The idea for a Christmas movie reunion was no accident. Bennett appeared in Hallmark's "The Holiday Sitter" this year (which, according to Bennett, is "the first gay couple to star in a Hallmark Christmas movie") and has appeared in a number of other holiday-themed Hallmark films.

As for Lohan, he has just made a mainstream comeback with a Hallmark-style Netflix Christmas movie titled Falling for Christmas.

Of Lohan's feat, Bennett said, "As the self-proclaimed King of Christmas, I, by virtue of my authority, gladly welcome Lindsay Lohan to the world of Christmas movies and hereby declare this year as Lindsay Lohan's Christmas Year." Hear, hear.

On a related note, Lacey Chabert, who played Gretchen Weiners in "Mean Girls," is also a Hallmark movie regular and seems to be really close to Bennett. The latter recently wished her a happy birthday with a sweet selfie on Instagram.

So for that reunion, just get Amanda Seyfried and Rachel McAdams on board! I mean, how busy can they really be?

Meanwhile, Jamie Lee Curtis also recently said that he and Lohan would be super on board for a "Freaky Friday" sequel. Nice.
