Abdul, an electronics engineer, grew up in Saudi Arabia with Pakistani parents. A self-confessed space geek, salsa dancer, and plant lover, he started baking with a colleague in graduate school, making sweets to brighten up his coffee breaks. Now he applies his precision thinking to the chemistry of baking, and matcha is one of his favorite flavors.
Originally from Poland, Janusz's passion for baking was influenced by his mother, who always baked on Saturdays. An avid fan of Internet culture, he moved to England 10 years ago, where he now lives with his boyfriend Simon and their sausage dog Nigel. Describing his baking style as "cartoonish, colorful, and camp," he loves incorporating Polish ingredients into traditional English pastries and using his favorite ginger and chocolate. In addition to baking, his hobbies include collecting movie props and watching drag (he once bought his boyfriend a statue of Ru Paul).

Born in Malaysia and one of seven siblings, Syabria moved to the UK in 2013 to pursue a PhD in cardiovascular research. A gaming enthusiast, she now lives in London with her boyfriend Bradley and spends her evenings playing online World War II simulation games. She began baking in 2017 with Red Velvet Cake, which reminds her of the treats she shared with friends back home. The Chicken Rendang Cornish Pasties are a particular favorite.

Carol is a supermarket cashier and passionate gardener. She shares her gardening expertise on a local radio show in a segment called "Composting Carol." Her first real cake was a birthday cake for her oldest granddaughter, Maisie. Her favorite flavors are autumnal: mixed spice, apple, and caramel.
Born in Libya, Maysam has lived in the UK since the age of 9 and speaks five languages (English, Arabic, Amazigh, Spanish, and Turkish.) She began baking around the age of 13 and loves the science of pastry making, making numerous prototypes until she gets it perfect. In addition to baking, the design major spends her spare time photographing still life and the world around her. Her favorite flavors are inspired by her Mediterranean heritage: the tartness of olives, the sweetness of dates, and the nuttiness of sesame seeds.
Will grew up outside of Bristol, went to college in Liverpool, and now lives in London with his wife, three children, and cat Tiggy. When not playing with his children, the charity director likes to apply his background in architecture to DIY and carpentry. His love of baking began at the age of two, when he turned his mother's pastry trimmings into little jam tarts. Now a baking engineer, she loves to use yeast in other pastries besides bread, and her favorite flavors are salted caramel and paprika (but not at the same time).
