Yesterday, October 27, it was announced that the Duke of Sussex's highly anticipated book, titled SPARE, will be released on January 10. Royal expert Jenny Bond says this does not bode well for Harry's relationship with the royal family, especially King Charles and Prince William.

"There have been reports that he would tone down after the Queen's death," Bond told BBC Breakfast (via Express).5]

"But from the publicity and the cover, that doesn't seem to be the case."

The moderator then said that perhaps the release of the book would "complete" and dust off all the controversy surrounding it, but Bond disagreed.

"I don't know if it's done. These things go on and on," she reminded viewers.

"Once it's out there, it's going to be just as popular on social media as it is in the 16 countries where it's published.

"In some countries, the title is even more damning. I think the Spanish title is 'In the Shadows,' not 'SPARE.'" (gulp.)

Bond further explained his interpretation of the title and promotional material.

"The whole film seems to say, 'I've been marginalized, I wasn't allowed to live the life I wanted because of the way I was born.'

"Well, William wouldn't want to be king either."

"Charles probably didn't want to be king. But you know, they make it work."

Sadly, Bond believes that SPARE "cannot heal the rift, especially between Harry and his brother."

"I don't think it's going to get much better after January."

Sigh.
