In a candid speech Sunday night to supporters of his charity Sentebale, Prince Harry spoke for the first time about his decision to step down from active royalty with Princess Meghan Markle to allow them and their son Archie to lead more independent lives (in new tab (opens in new tab). The key message is: "We are not walking away. He also added a sweet anecdote about his son Archie experiencing snow for the first time and thinking it was "bloody glorious."

Harry said to the crowd: "It was an honor to meet so many of you. I could also feel your excitement for my son Archie, who saw snow for the first time the other day and thought it was bloody wonderful.

Archie did not specify the specific location where he saw the snow, but presumably Archie was staying with his mother and was on Vancouver Island, where it snowed last week. Since the shocking news, Harry has remained in the UK to attend events and work on outlining the parameters of the couple's future life, while Meghan returned to Vancouver Island to be with Archie.

Meghan was seen picking up a friend (open in new tab) at the airport on Thursday, and her BFF Jessica Mulroney is also believed to have come to Vancouver Island to help care for Archie during Meghan and Harry's UK trip (open in new tab).
