Things are changing at Buckingham Palace. It is, of course, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's new role as non-royals (opens in new tab). Not only have they relinquished their royal titles (opens in new tab), but they have also relinquished their royal allowances (opens in new tab) and will likely be spending most of their time in Canada rather than the UK.

Of course, there is still much to be worked out (such as buying a house in Canada) and Queen Elizabeth is believed to be "happy" with the step-down agreement (open in new tab), but there is one thing she is a little upset about: Harry and Meghan's son Archie, that she can't spend more time with him.

According to the Sunday Times (opens in new tab), the Queen is "very saddened" that she and other members of the royal family have not seen Archie much since his birth eight months ago. The Sussex family has been away from the U.K. since November, and it is unlikely that Archie will be back anytime soon. A source said, "She will be very sad that she will hardly see Archie and that he will miss the opportunity to grow up with his cousins and wider family."

This follows earlier reports that Archie has seen his cousins Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis "only a few times." (Open in new tab) So it remains to be seen how close the Sussex family will remain to the rest of the royal family.
