Jennifer Aniston loves Brad Pitt. Not love, but platonic love. Joking during Pitt's acceptance speech at the 2020 SAG Awards (Pitt won Best Supporting Actor), she said of his role in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, "It was a difficult role: a guy who gets high, takes his shirt off, and doesn't get along with his wife."

Jen's reaction to Brad's Tinder joke in the opening line was off camera (he said he should add this win to his Tinder profile!) ), she did an epic slow clap when he mentioned his relationship status.

Aniston had similar sentiments at the 2020 Golden Globes a few weeks ago. When Pitt quipped in his acceptance speech, "I wanted to bring my mom [to the Globes], but I couldn't because every woman standing next to me said I was dating," the camera caught Aniston smiling. On the red carpet prior to the awards ceremony, Pitt described Aniston as "a really good friend" (opens in new tab) and gave an interview.

"Brad and Jen have a great connection that can sometimes seem like a flirtation," a source told US Weekly (opens in new tab) in December.

"They dig each other's sense of humor and have an infectious energy when they are together, but they insist that things are purely platonic and nothing more."
