Something truly spectacular happened tonight at the Screen Actors Guild Awards: former lovers Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt both won awards, capturing the reunion that the public has long coveted. Pitt grabbed Aniston's hand: it's PDA, people!!!

This was after Pitt was spotted smiling at Aniston's acceptance speech for SAG's Best Supporting Actor award (in which he made a marriage joke and her reaction was filmed) and E! backstage watching Aniston's own acceptance speech for Best Female Actor in a Drama Series. This was shortly after he tweeted the footage.

Pitt and Aniston have recently become friends; Us Weekly (opens in new tab) reported in December that the two are completely platonic but even have sparks flying. A source told the magazine, "Brad and Jen have a great connection, even though they may seem flirtatious at times." They dig each other's sense of humor and have an infectious energy when they are together, but they insist that things are purely platonic and nothing more."[5

Pitt further told of playing games to get a picture with Aniston on the Golden Globes red carpet. However, the public had to wait until the SAG Awards for that to happen.
