On Saturday, actress Eva Mendes took to Instagram to share a new video showing off her new hairstyle during a design meeting.

"Back to work. Design meeting," Mendes wrote in the clip's caption. "My coworkers are teasing me about my 'cute' new haircut. Thanks @giannandreahair for making my mommy life so much easier. em is @nyandcompany's Reilly blazer and Qiana palazzo pants. Online if you're curious. Thought I'd let you know since so many people ask what I'm wearing?"

The troll took it upon herself to leave some judgment in the comments, writing, "She's getting old."

Rather than ignore the insinuation, Mendez (open in new tab) replied to the comment himself, perfectly silencing the offending remark.

"Yeah, you're right. I'm getting old. I mean I'm still here. I'm almost 46 and I'm thankful every day that I'm getting older. Did your comment make me feel bad? I'm thankful. So thank you for reminding me that I am still here. ❤️❤️❤️."

In the caption of the original post, Mendes (opens in new tab) added a message to fans who use the comments section for good, saying, "Sending you all special love now and always. Thanks for always sending me so much positivity and love in the comments. I read most of them when I can and I am so happy to see so much love. I will give it all back to you, tenfold, ?"
