If you're not ready for Valentine's Day yet, Kate Middleton and Prince William (opens in new tab) may have just the look that will blow your mind. During a visit to Mumbles in South Wales on Tuesday, Kate wore a particularly glamorous red heart scarf (opens in new tab) and paired it with a double-breasted Hobbs coat and a bright red clutch bag. William wasn't dressed for the holidays, but he did get a little romantic when speaking with royal admirers and made a rare, super-sweet comment about his wife.

As "People" reports (opens in new tab), a woman spoke to the Duke of Cambridge at the Mumbles pier and told him that her favorite royal was 4-year-old Princess Charlotte. William then seized the opportunity to compliment the admirer, saying, "Yes, she's lovely - just like my wife." Lovely!

Another cute anecdote from the Cambridges' trip to Wales: Kate was reunited with two prep school teachers who had traveled to Mumbles to meet a former student. Denise Evans-Alford and Kevin Alford, who taught the Duchess at St. Andrew's School in Berkshire, England, gave a note to a police officer (opens in new tab) about their relationship with Kate and managed to have a conversation with her, reports the BBC The BBC reports.

"It's such a small world," Kate reportedly told the teacher, "I want to instill in my children the life I had at St Andrew's." (According to the BBC, she was a member of the school's faculty. (According to the BBC, she last visited the school when she was 14, when she and her sister Pippa went to see her brother James.)

Kevin Alford, a French and German teacher, recalled, "It was wonderful that she gave us so much of her time. 'We have followed her career. She was a great class girl and we got along very well."
