A little more information has emerged about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's plans to move to North America (opens in new tab), as it was recently revealed that their departure date from royal official duties is March 31 (opens in new tab) The two have been spending a lot of time on Vancouver Island (including a $14 million mansion ( (opens in new tab)), including spending a lot of time there, and there are reports that they will keep Frogmore Cottage for when they visit the UK. But if reports are to be believed, the two are also considering a location in Malibu, Calif. California is where Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, lives, and the location they are considering is apparently only 30 miles away, making it a state close to Meghan's heart.

The Daily Mail has a photo (opens in new tab) of the $7 million mansion the couple is reportedly looking for, which is, in short, gorgeous and secluded. It is on a small peninsula surrounded by trees. It has a great view, a pool, tennis courts, and even a small beach of sorts (for Archie to play on?). Royal fans were first informed of the potential California plans by Caitlyn Jenner in January, who said of their exit, "It was a big shock for her. Good for her. I heard you were looking for a house in Malibu. It must have been hard. Everyone should be happy."

As you may recall, Harry finally opened up about his decision to step down as senior royal in the Royal Family in January. Not only because he mentioned his mother in his speech, but also because he gave a similar speech (opens in new tab) when she stepped down from her royal duties in 1993.
