At the Edinburgh International Conference Hall on Wednesday, the Duke of Sussex asked journalist Ayesha Hazarika to introduce himself only as "Harry." Hazarika introduced him thus: "He made it clear that we should all just call him Harry. Everyone, please give Harry a warm Scottish welcome, not HRH, not Duke, not Prince, but just "Harry."

In early January, Prince Harry (or is it just Harry?) and Meghan Markle stepped down from their senior royal positions to become financially independent, focus on family, and launch their own charity (which, according to a candid exchange with the Queen last week, will not have "royal" in its name) The announcement (opens in new tab) (opens in new tab). The press conference is one of Harry's last events as a senior royal before he steps down on March 31, marking the beginning of a new chapter for Harry, Markle, and Archie.

The Duke traveled to Edinburgh for the conference on behalf of Travelyst, the sustainable tourism company he founded. There he listened to feedback from several other travel companies on how to make the industry more sustainable.

According to royal correspondent Rebecca English (opens in new tab), the Duke is mindful of more environmentally friendly travel practices (which may have something to do with the outcry he had that time he took a private jet) (opens in new tab). He flew in from Canada by commercial plane to London and took the train to Edinburgh. Imagine sitting next to Prince Harry. Time will tell whether "Harry" is the type to sit on the aisle or the window.
