Best Twitter Reactions to the "Parks and Recreation" Alumni Reunion

Thursday night I revisited Pawnee, Indiana for the first time in 5 years. (There were tears, laughter, and smiles! I may have crooned Bye Bye Lil Sebastian for three hours straight afterwards.

Amy Poehler, Rashida Jones, Aziz Ansari, Nick Offerman, Aubrey Plaza (opens in new tab), Chris Pratt, Adam Scott, Rob Lowe, Jim O'Hare, Retta, and other familiar faces from the hit series, appeared in a special episode to raise money for Feeding America's COVID-19 Response Fund (opens in new tab). (If you can afford it, feel free to donate here (opens in new tab)).

"Like many others, we were looking for ways to help and felt that bringing these characters back overnight would raise some money," executive producer Michael Schurr previously said in an announcement about the "Parks and Rec" reunion in an announcement about the project. I sent a hopeful email to the cast, and within 45 minutes, everyone had responded."

In the episode, Leslie Knope (Poehler) tries to contact all of her friends while practicing social distancing. Obviously, the antics known from "Parks and Recreation" took place, and Twitter erupted in glee. Pard Hapley interviewed Ben and Leslie! Jean Ralphio was run over by Porsche! The entire cast sang "5,000 Candles in the Wind."

See what fans of this beloved comedy (opens in new tab) had to say about the digital reunion. And let's go have some waffles.

In conclusion: ...... Everyone is crying.
