What Happened to "The Bachelor" Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici?

Episode 1 of The Bachelor: The Most Unforgettable-Ever. (open in new tab) In a throwback season of The Bachelor, we get one of the most fan favorite couples of all time. Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici (open in new tab) (now Lowe) had a dramatic season in the best sense of the word. When he began his "journey," she wasn't the central frontrunner, but when they tied the knot, they (and viewers) quickly realized that things were special. Not since Trista and Ryan Sutter had two people garnered so much fan love. Especially (spoiler alert) Sean and Catherine, who are still together and have three adorable children.

As a relative newbie to this franchise, I'm delighted with the entire premise of "Most Unforgettable-Ever." because I get a crash course in some of the show's most iconic seasons. Despite its various problems, including a shocking lack of diversity (open in new tab) (will there be a Rachel Bachelorette retrospective, producers?), I appreciate the true love stories that sometimes slip through the madness. I am especially looking forward to seeing the chemistry between Catherine and Sean that I have heard so much about. Seven and a half years after the last rose ceremony (.

the two regularly reminisce about their season and the joy they felt in discovering how much they cared for each other. Sean recently introduced Catherine's intro package, saying he would have picked her out of "25 million women":

Look at that unicycling prowess.

Proof of their loveliness B:

Last year, Lady Catherine revealed their infamous run-and-jump moment:

What I appreciate most is that Sean is clearly instructed not to turn around, but the pat-pat-pat of excited feet moving forward toward him clearly audible, I think.

After a big break in 2012, they married in 2014; in January, they celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary with what I think is the funniest behind-the-scenes photo I've ever seen:

The couple welcomed Samuel, Thomas, and Mia in 2016, 2018, and 2019, respectively (Open in new tab). 2018, Sean explains, " I love having two kids. But I want to try to see if I can have a girl that looks like my mom." But as both of them regularly note, all three children look exactly like Sean, so one out of two would not be a bad thing.

The couple shares candid photos of their family of five and how hard it is to get them all to pose together. Their entire feed is worth perusing, and following them on Instagram is like getting a shot of pure sweetness every time you look.

Also, this may not be the end of having children for the couple. Catherine said in 2018, "Next time we want a girl naturally, and then we want to [adopt]." 'Then we would have sisters and brothers. When I originally met Sean, I wanted five. He was like, 'Whoa. ' I'm like, 'Okay, maybe four.'"

Sean joked that the rerun would help him "recapture the 15 minutes of fame I've been desperately searching for the past seven years." No spoilers, please. (This is next to a picture of him proposing. Spoiler alert)

Catherine's was more heartfelt, recalling how she felt when she was first cast." I was very honored, but somewhat grounded in the fact that I was going to be one of the faces representing people of color."

She added that. "One of the reasons I was chosen would be that I'm Filipino. I knew I liked Sean and I could be his fiancée. I thought I was just there to check the box, but I ended up being very much more."

As the two grew closer, "I was able to open up to the possibility that I could be fully loved and appreciated for all that I am because of this experience. ❤️"

She ended with a message to those who want to make a similar journey: "Do yourself a favor and don't give up. You are destined for greater things than simply checking a box."

I can't wait to see this.
