What is Caitlin Bristow of "Bachelorette" doing now?

"The Bachelor" Episode 1: The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons-Ever! After the lovey-dovey episode of "The Bachelor," aka Sean Lowe and Katherine Giudici (opens in new tab), we're following fan favorite Kaitlyn Bristowe. Because (spoiler alert from five years ago, I guess), Bristowe is not with Sean Booth, who was chosen as the last rose, but she is with another Bachelorette alum. Her "Bachelorette" season (open in new tab) has a lot of crazy, crazy drama that fans love. I'm most excited to see Ian Thomson (open in new tab). I'm also looking forward to Nick Viall (opens in new tab). But what is the podcaster, entrepreneur, TV personality, and former spin instructor doing these days?

After the Final Rose, Bristow and Booth dated for three years before calling off their engagement (opens in new tab) in November 2018. And Bristow, who also spoke with former Viall on the "Viall Files" podcast (opens in new tab), finally got honest about why. She explained that two years before Viall was named Bachelor, the two nearly broke up. "Sean almost broke up with me. I was like, 'What do you mean? I was so hurt. He said, 'He won. That's what he wanted. That's why he went on the show and won. (They were not fans (open in new tab) of each other on the show.)

She went on to say that the show "hurt" their relationship and trust. 'I wanted him to believe how much I loved him. But it didn't come across. In the end, I chose him and then I chose him back. ...... I didn't feel he chose me back." She added, "I really lost confidence in that relationship."

Bristow and Booth, as Instagram shows, keep in touch at least occasionally. Most recently, they expressed their sadness and condolences after Booth's dog, Tucker, passed away in April (opens in new tab).

Tartik appeared on Bristow's feed shortly before the breakup and appeared on her "Off the Vine" podcast:

and in February 2019 a romance-like post appeared. She wrote:

["Choose to move forward," she wrote, "to a story that fills you, to someone who will win your heart as carefully as you win theirs, to a happiness that exists because you chose to fight for it and never stop fighting for it.

Aside from that odd hook-up story (opens in new tab), the two are apparently going strong (opens in new tab) and have two adopted children and an engagement story (opens in new tab). And they shared the story of how they met (aww!) :

In case you're wondering, Booth has been on a few dates (opens in new tab), but as of January 2020, he's focused on his fitness career.

In an amusing Insta post, Bristow wrote: "Let's rerun a season of #Bachelorette, they said. They said it will be fun. *with a nervous smile*." Commenters pointed out how hard it is to watch a season where you fall in love, choose someone to be happy with, and then literally have the whole world know you've broken up.

If the first episode was any indication, we will hear directly from Bristow and Tartick (and Booth?).
