Prince Harry takes another step forward from his former status as senior royalty.

Prince Harry is keeping a promise he made earlier this year after he and Meghan Markle announced they were stepping down from their royal executive roles. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex agreed not to "actively" use the title HRH after leaving royal duties, and both have since kept that promise. The latest example: according to a People report, Harry's sustainable tourism initiative, Travalyst, has updated its website (opens in new tab). The website previously described the initiative as "led by His Royal Highness the Duke of Sussex."

In an official statement on the website (opens in new tab), the Sussexes clarified how their titles will change after they step down. "As agreed and set forth in January, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will retain the prefix "HRH" and continue to be formally known as His Royal Highness the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will no longer actively use the title HRH as they will no longer be part of the family as of Spring 2020," the statement said.

Harry made headlines earlier this year when he appeared to reject his former royal title at a Travalyst conference in Edinburgh, Scotland (open in new tab). Introducing Harry, journalist Ayesha Hazarika said, "He made it clear that we should all just call him Harry. Everyone, please give Harry a warm Scottish welcome."

The "Harry" in the name of the "Scottish" community was a "very warm welcome" to the event.
