Netflix's "Indian Matchmaking" is your new favorite dating show.

When it's this hot, all you want to do is turn on the air conditioning and lie on the couch. Fortunately, Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO Go, and Hulu have enough on-demand entertainment (opens in new tab) to entertain me forever. But when something new and topical comes along, like "Unsolved Mysteries" (opens in new tab) or "Love is Blind" (opens in new tab), you can't help but dive in completely.

The premise goes like this: fed up with the dreaded drawbacks of dating apps (opens in new tab) and blind dates, young people in the United States and India seek professional advice to find a partner. They seek the services of Sima Taparia, a matchmaker specializing in arranged marriages. Intrigued, aren't you?" Here's everything you need to know about your new favorite dating series.

Over eight episodes, renowned Indian matchmaker Sima Taparia guides her millennial clients on the path to finding "the one." Throughout the season, she meets clients from Houston, Chicago, New Jersey (open in new tab), Mumbai, and more.

Most of these clients are fed up with the digital dating scene we know and hate and just want to get down to business. After learning about their interests, ambitions, and natal chart (opens in new tab), Taparia sets out on a journey to find the perfect match the way she thinks it should be. Because for once, you don't have to watch sexy people parade around in confusing swimsuits (opens in new tab) "looking for love." In other words, make it educational and meaningful, like "Too Hot to Handle" (opens in new tab).

Yes, don't sweat it! Netflix teases what's to come in this video, giving us a glimpse of the process Taparia will be going through with its clients. The trailer also reveals how involved the parents are in the process, and shows some tough love from the family.

At one point in the trailer, an impatient mother says Oh, family!

Here is what we know about some of the singles featured on the show: Aparna Shewakramani, from Houston, Texas, is the co-founder of My Golden Balloon (open in new tab), a travel site dedicated to curated vacations for women travelers.
