Every year there is a lot of pressure on the Emmys, but this year things are a little calmer. Some celebs are dressed in fashion pajamas (opens in new tab), while others are dressed as if they were walking the actual red carpet. Tracee Ellis Ross was in the latter bucket. Instead of posing for the paparazzi, Ross smiled in a personal photo she posted on her Instagram before making a brief appearance at the awards ceremony. Ross, an actress, used the makeshift red carpet as a prop.

Ross may have missed out on the Best Actress in a Comedy category (Catherine O'Hara of "Shits Creek" won), but she was definitely on the Best Dressed list for tonight's Emmy Awards.
