Given the number of times Katie Holmes has been spotted in New York over the past few days (sometimes even with her new chef boyfriend, Emilio Vitolo Jr. (open in new tab)), I wouldn't be surprised if we run into her in New York. I'm hoping for that chance, but until then I'm checking out her fashion (opens in new tab). A few days ago, Holmes convinced most of us to invest in a cute navy coat (opens in new tab), and yesterday she signaled that a GAP hoodie might be the next practical everyday item to have.

Star paired the hoodie, which was photographed twice in two days (opens in new tab), with the same double-breasted blue coat we saw earlier and acid-washed Rag & Bone high-rise jeans (opens in new tab). He wore his hair in a (chic) messy high bun, a white mask, and white sneakers. Further investigation revealed that the gray logoed hoodie (opens in new tab) that Holmes is wearing is actually a men's style: is this Emilio's hoodie? Does he know she has it, CUTE, and the two already share an outfit? Before we get ahead of ourselves, a more likely reason could be that she just likes menswear.

Regardless of how she got this hoodie, seeing Holmes in the pullover must bring back memories of shopping at GAP with her mother. (Personally, I always hid under the clothes rack, much to everyone's annoyance.)
