Prince William and Prince Harry would not have feuded if Princess Diana had lived, bodyguard says

Both Will and Harry have been open about their strained relationship of late (opens in new tab) (well, at least the royals have), with Harry's recent documentary about his royal tour of Africa with Meghan Markle (opens in new tab) (opens in new tab) The two have even said that they are "on different paths now."

Royal insiders believe there is one person who could have stopped their recent falling out from escalating to that point: their late mother, Princess Diana (opens in new tab). Princess Diana's former guardian Ken Waugh (opens in new tab) explained why he believes the People's Princess could have changed the way Will and Harry (opens in new tab) communicate today.

"Princess Diana had tremendous influence over them, and I don't think they would have had this falling out if Princess Diana had been there. Because Diana would not have allowed things to escalate. I don't think Harry and Meghan would have left KP (Kensington Palace) if Diana had still been there. If Princess Diana had seen her brothers at war, she would have been very upset. She always loved that her sons were so close."
