As a lover of all things romantic comedy (opens in new tab), "Emily in Paris" is going to be right up my alley. This new Netflix romantic comedy series will fill a "Sex and the City"-sized hole in my life; free from the worries of my favorite TV shows (opens in new tab) on hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the glamorous, gossip-filled "Emily in Paris ' is coming to Netflix this fall, you can breathe a sigh of relief.

The star of several of your favorite TV dramas, including "SATC," "Younger," "Beverly Hills 90210" (both the OG version and the reboot), and "Melrose Place," is at the helm of this production. Starr created, wrote, and executive produced "Emily in Paris," which is filled with fashionable characters, drama, and love interests.

Starr's new social media strategy will be a big hit, as costume designer Patricia Field, who has worked with stars on films such as "SATC" and "The Devil Wears Prada" (opens new tab), brings her creative eye for clothing to the series.

Star said that Emilie "is not completely accepted by some French people. Netflix knew my boredom levels were rising and dropped a teaser trailer virtually a month before the new show was released. The minute-long video shows Emily embracing the new Parisian lifestyle, embracing urban fashion, lots of good-looking men, and social gatherings. Basically, to sum it up: fabulous. See for yourself:

Now, you already know that the fabulous Lily Collins (opens in new tab) and her fabulous eyebrows are in this series, but who else is in it?

First, Grammy- and Tony-nominated actress Ashley Park will play Mindy Chen. You may have seen her as Gretchen Weiners in Mean Girls (open in new tab) or on Broadway in the Netflix limited series Tales of the City. From what I can see on her Instagram, her costumes will not disappoint.

Kate Walsh, forever known to me as Dr. Addison Montgomery from "Grey's Anatomy" (open in new tab) and "Private Practice," plays Emily's mentor from Chicago. Other American actors in the film include William Abadie ("Homeland") and Arnaud Viard.

However, since the film is set in Paris, it is only natural that French actors should appear. Get ready to see Filipinos Leroy Beaulieu, Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold, Camille Lazat, and Bruno Guerry on screen as series regulars. It is still unclear what role they will play in the series, but we will report back as soon as we know more details.

The fact that the show is from the creators of "Sex and the City" means that the costumes worn by the characters will be of a high caliber. From the preview photos of the upcoming season, "Star" will not disappoint. If anything, the show is going to make me want to get a whole new wardrobe. Watch it from:
