The live table read of the 1982 cult film, organized by Dane Cook, was initially a fundraiser for Sean Penn's coronavirus relief nonprofit CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) and criminal justice charity REFORM Alliance, was scheduled to be delivered on August 21 as a fundraiser for the Alliance. However, according to the Hollywood Reporter (opens in new tab), technical problems forced the postponement of the event. The technical problems could not be overcome. Classes will resume soon."
