Since leaving her day job in the fashion industry to launch fitness phenomenon The Class (opens in new tab) in 2011, founder and CEO Taryn Toomey (opens in new tab) has not missed a beat. She opened two studios for mat-based programs that combine elements of Pilates, yoga, meditation, cardio and emotional release, gaining followers and friends like Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston and Gisele Bundchen, as well as making a big splash. two children. Preheat oven to 375°F. Cut 1 large (or 2 small) spaghetti squash in half, remove seeds, and brush both sides with 4 teaspoons avocado oil and salt and pepper to taste. Place face down on a parchment-lined baking sheet and place in the oven; check after 20 minutes and let sit for another 5 to 10 minutes, or until the skin can be pierced with a fork and the flesh is tender. Allow to cool.

1 cup cilantro, 2/3 cup fresh basil, 1/2 cup hemp hearts, 1 tablespoon fresh garlic (3-4 large cloves), 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons water, 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice), 1 tablespoon whole capers, 1 tablespoon Dijon , 2 tablespoons olive oil, and 1 teaspoon sea salt in a mini food processor or powerful blender and blend well until creamy and smooth. Add salt as needed.

Pour 1/4 cup sauce over 1/2 cup spaghetti squash. Garnish with pepper, lemon zest, and fresh herbs, if desired.
