Princess Eugenie releases two adorable new photos of baby August.
Royal Baby Content Alert Princess Eugenie has released two new photos on Instagram of her and husband Jack Brooksbank's first child, August. The couple gave birth to their son (full name: August Philip Hawk Brooksbank) on February 9.
Eugenie thanked her followers for the birthday wishes after she turned 31 on March 23. She wrote: "Thank you for all the birthday love yesterday." You gave me the best present ever!" She shared two photos from August: in the first, she is holding her new baby while husband Brooksbank has his hand on her shoulder, and in the second, Brooksbank is holding the royal baby snuggled around daddy's neck.
Eugenie's outfit is very cute, like a snake print dress with a bijoux headband, but it is August's ensemble that truly dominates the scene. The royal baby has a royal (fitting!) back. She wears a white knit cardigan with her name embroidered in blue letters, and a small white hat with colorful stars embroidered on the brim and a small elephant.August Who designs your knits?
Eugenie has been generous with snaps of the new arrival: she shared the first photo, including his face, to announce his name (opens in new tab), just under two weeks after he was born. 'I wanted to introduce August Philip Hawk Brooksbank,' she said. 'Thanks for all the lovely messages. Our hearts are filled with love for this little human and words cannot express it. We are so excited to share these photos with you."
And to celebrate Mother's Day in the UK, Eugenie posted a snap of baby August (opens in new tab) lying on a blanket in daffodils, wearing awesome whale print pants and fluffy rabbit slippers The first time I saw the baby August, he was wearing a blanket. Eugenie also posted a photo of herself as a baby, wrapped in a blanket and held by her own mother, Sarah Ferguson.
"I am so excited to be a mom to August. As you can see, I am enjoying my first Mother's Day," Eugenie captioned the photo, adding, "I celebrate my beautiful mama with a picture of us taken in March 1990. You have taught me so much. Happy Mother's Day, everyone."
