Prince William and Prince Harry are reportedly "twisting the truth" and "cheaping out."

Tensions are still high between Prince William and Prince Harry (opens in new tab) in the wake of Harry's confiding in Oprah Winfrey (opens in new tab) about the royal family.

Apparently William (opens in new tab) is not thrilled that Gayle King mentioned on CBS (opens in new tab) that their conversation was not "productive" and feels that Harry betrayed his trust.

"William was left upset. He says that leaking the details of the private call was a cheap act and that he twisted the truth," a source told Us Weekly (opens in new tab), and that William is "putting himself in danger of the same thing happening again" by talking to Harry on the phone because he is He said that he feels "uncomfortable right now."

For the record, Gayle told CBS This Morning (opens in new tab), "The word I got was that those conversations were not productive. But they are happy that at least the conversation has started. And I think what they are still upset about is that the Palace keeps saying they want to resolve this privately, but they believe that there are false stories coming out that are very defamatory of Princess Meghan."[7

It is unclear how they can reconcile (open in new tab) if the siblings are not talking, but Us Weekly's source said, "Harry's problem is that he is obsessed with being right and whether he says he wants to move on from this or not, he will not back down until he gets some form of apology from the family. He has also said that he will not."

An apology seems fair, but it is unlikely anything will be said in public, so it will have to be done in private. Despite Prince William's desire to mention the Sussex couple's claims, the Queen reportedly wants to keep the fallout from Harry and Meghan's interview within the family. In any case, the siblings will meet face-to-face for the first time this summer when Princess Diana's statue is unveiled at Kensington Palace.
