Who is Nick from "The Circle" Season 3?
What do you get when you combine dogs, lacrosse and high tech? Nick Uhlenhuth enters Season 3 of The Circle (opens in new tab) with his own charm and swagger, quickly becoming a major contender in Netflix's social media competition. Here's everything we know about The Circle contestants (opens in new tab), and warning: you may have just found your new favorite reality star.
Nick is a 27-year-old from Seattle, Washington, now based in Austin, Texas. He works in outer space, has a twin brother, is an amateur musician (singing, guitar, drums), is obsessed with dogs, and played lacrosse in college.
Nick enters the social media game as himself, with one major difference: Circle Nick plays dumb, hoping that by being friendly but clueless, he can be treated as a loser and stay under the radar until the finale.
"I'm going to de-emphasize brains, smarts, and all things computer-related - that way they'll see me as a threat," he explains in the intro to Episode 1. Instead, Nick poses as "a totally harmless, innocent drummer who is looking for a good time and a laugh." And let's not forget, Nick has no problem flirting for the sake of influencer status (or for the prospect of a real relationship). Nick hits it off quickly with the rest of the circle, but it won't be long before he's marked as the real mastermind behind the game; we'll see how he ends up in the next episode, which will be released on September 15.
