Meghan Markle and Prince Harry May "Push the Royal Family to the Limit" in Second Oprah Interview
In March, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's televised interview with Oprah Winfrey was watched with bated breath by people around the world.
Now, according to one royal biographer, the Sussexes may be planning a second interview with the TV personality.
"Harry and Meghan are causing havoc and there will be no stopping them," Duncan Larcombe told Closer." I can totally see more high-profile, Hollywood-style interviews being conducted by A-list TV hosts." (Markle recently appeared on "The Ellen Show.")
"Especially if a lot of money is offered for it," Larkom continued. Harry will also need to promote his memoir, which is due out next fall." And if Oprah's interview is anything like the last one, the royal family will surely be pushed to the limit."
Larkom explained that Prince Harry's departure from the royal family in 2020 has certainly put a damper on his relationship with the queen, but the two are still considered close.
"The Queen and Harry have always had a special relationship. At royal events we have seen them smiling at each other and exchanging knowing glances." Given the drama that Harry and Meghan have caused, though, it is clear that they are not as close as they used to be." There is no doubt that Harry's memoir will criticize the royal family again. And it will hurt the queen.
"But homesickness and the desire to see someone is heightened when someone is ill. So I think recent reports have made Harry realize that it may not be long before he gets to see his grandmother. If the Queen becomes ill, it could be a big wake-up call for Harry."
