Kate Middleton, should she bow down to her three children?

[But I still feel sorry for Kate Middleton, who has had to follow some really wild traditions since her marriage to Prince William.

Perhaps one of the strangest things she has to do, and fortunately perhaps a rule she does not follow, is to bow when she meets her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Clearly, the mother of three is likely dodging this particular request.

According to the "Express," the Duchess of Cambridge was not born into the royal family, but married into it, and therefore must bow to all direct members of the royal bloodline. This means, for example, that she must bow to Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, the Queen and all her children, but not to their partners.

However, the guidelines change if the Duchess is accompanied by her husband, in which case the husband's rank applies to the Duchess. If Prince William becomes King and the Duchess becomes Queen, the Duchess strictly need only bow to her husband and need not bow to anyone else.

As for Meghan Markle, when she meets her sister-in-law, she is supposed to bow according to rank.

In both public and private life, royals bow to family members superior to themselves, but outside of official occasions, the rule is considered somewhat relaxed. Nevertheless, it seems that everyone always bows to the queen.
