Jennifer Lopez has been sporting dark gold hair for a while now, but she felt it was time for a change.

The star's hairstylist, Chris Appleton, took to Instagram to share new photos of her mid-length locks, dyed bubblegum pink and styled into messy beach waves. Obviously, J.Lo looks incredible in the new style, but it is unclear if this is her actual hair (aka permanent change).

Lopez also went all out with her makeup for the photos, with bold brows, dark-lined eyes, bright pink blush, and glossy lipstick in neutral shades.

Paris Hilton seemed particularly impressed with Lopez's new look, commenting with lots of pink heart emojis.

Lopez herself has not shown off her pink hair on social media. Her latest Instagram post is a music video for "On My Way," a song from her upcoming film "Marry Me," co-starring Owen Wilson and set for release on February 11.
