Scott Disick "puts aside" his "hostility" toward Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker for the sake of his children, sources say.
While many were happy about Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker's engagement, Scott Disick was not one of them.
In case you missed it, this was made extremely clear by a source who spoke to People in October. He was "not happy with the engagement," they said. Could it be any more obvious?
Around the same time, a source told Us Weekly that Disick "once refused to be in the same room with [Barker]."
Now, however, a new source tells Us Weekly that Dissick knows to lay down his arms when his children (he shares Kardashian with daughter Penelope and sons Mason and Rain) are involved.
"All Scott talks about is his kids," the source said. Even when they are not physically together, he always talks about the kids."
"He is definitely a very good father, and he cares and loves his children very much," the source continues. He wants to be a good role model for them."
Part of being a good role model is being friendly with exes and their fiancés when push comes to shove. A source said, "Whatever animosity there is between Travis and Courtney, we put it aside in front of the kids."
The source also explained that Disick is a "nice guy" and "very passionate about his interests." Nevertheless, "what makes [his interests] even more special is that he can share his interests and experiences with his children."
Kardashian and Barker began dating in early 2021 and put a ring on it in October.
