Sarah Ferguson says Meghan Markle will make Prince Harry "happy."

Sarah Ferguson (aka Duchess of York, aka Fergie) recently appeared on the Italian talk show Porta a Porta and was asked her opinion on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

"The most important thing is that they are happy, as Princess Diana would say if she were here," Ferguson said (via People). 'And she's making him happy. I love seeing that little boy crying at the funeral and now he's happy." Prince Harry's mother, Princess Diana, died in a car accident when Prince Harry was only 12 years old.

"If she were sitting with me right now, I would say, 'I am so proud of my two sons and the wonderful wife they have chosen,'" the Duchess of York previously told People. 'We each have our own voice.'

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have made it their mission to fight for causes they care about since retiring from royal duties in early 2020. The Duchess was even recently rumored to be in the running for a California senatorial seat.

Besides that, the royal couple has been outspoken on issues such as climate change, paid leave, and vaccine equality.

The Duchess of York is not the first public figure to point that out about how well suited they are. Melissa McCarthy also once said that Prince Harry makes his wife very happy. When Prince Harry walked into the room, her whole face lit up and I thought, "Prince Harry walked into the room and her whole face lit up?" I thought. Prince Harry walked into the room and her whole face lit up and I thought, "Prince Harry walked into the room and her whole face lit up ......" It was like. I thought it was so sweet and pure," the actress recalled of the video she shot with the Duchess on her 40th birthday.
