Princess Charlotte already has perfect manners.

Even the littlest royals are expected to have good manners. Prince Louis may be young, but Princess Charlotte, 6, and Prince George, 8, have already demonstrated excellent discipline.

Although Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their three children, the Cambridges, were unable to be with the queen in person this Christmas (the palace canceled its usual holiday events in light of the recent pandemic surge), Charlotte has been in the past holiday season to show the public how seriously she already takes her royal duties.

In 2019, when the family spent Christmas in Sandringham, Princess Charlotte and Prince George attended the morning church service with their parents. As the queen's car drove off, Kate bowed according to protocol, and Charlotte bowed to her great-grandmother to the delight of onlookers. According to Express UK, "Her manners were outstanding. 'But she was cheeky and not at all scared.'

Even as children, the young royals seem to be taught, albeit gently at first, to follow the strict protocols that will one day be required of them, according to Myka Meier of Beaumont Etiquette, who was interviewed by Cosmopolitan.com. their lessons "will probably start with simple training, such as how to shake hands and how to bow, around the age of two. The first training will probably be done by their mother, the Duchess of Cambridge". Kate's approach, however, will be quite laid-back. Meyer says, "Growing up in a palace means that the training will not be courses or formal training, but gentle lessons in daily observation and how to be prepared just before an event or when meeting an important guest."

It is because of such early training that Charlotte has been bowing since she was only two years old.

Adorably precocious.
