Prince William reveals his favorite board games, Christmas movies, and more in an adorable interview.
From black-tie dinners to lavish concerts, it's no secret that the Royal Family celebrates the holidays a little differently than we regular folks. However, in a recent interview, Prince William revealed one tradition that is very close to home.
Interviewed by Radio Marsden Hospital from Kensington Palace, William answered questions from his young patients (some as young as 3 years old) and talked about how they celebrate Christmas, right down to the family's favorite games.
"We play a lot of board games with the kids. We love Monopoly and Risk, and we play for hours." Prince William said. Said Prince William: "Some people get upset when they lose."
The Duke of Cambridge also spoke about his favorite foods, top holiday songs, and more. Cute questions Prince William was asked and his answers are below:
Do you like Brussels sprouts? He replied: "I love Brussels sprouts. It's very important to eat greens."
What do you want for Christmas?
"If I had to choose right now, I would want my favorite team, Aston Villa, to win on Boxing Day.
Do you like ice skating? I like ice skating, but I'm terrible at it. My feet slip all over the place and I look like a deer on ice. It's not very pretty."
What is your favorite Christmas movie? I guess "Elf". It's so funny and I keep watching it every Christmas and it still makes me laugh."
Where would you like to visit? 'I love Africa, I'd love to explore more of it.'
Do you own a Lamborghini?
"Do you have a Lamborghini? A big, bright yellow Lamborghini. But unfortunately I don't have a Lamborghini. I'll have to save up and buy one when I get older."
What is your favorite Christmas song to sing together? I like Mariah Carey, who I love, but I think "Feliz Navidad." It's a little more jolly."
Does Elf on the Shelf come to your house?
"I don't know what Elf on the Shelf is, but it sounds like a lot of fun.
If you were in charge of Christmas for a day, how would you celebrate Christmas? I would say, "I think we need to make sure that everyone enjoys Christmas. So I would get everyone together and throw a big party. If I were in charge of Christmas on that day, COVID would not exist, and certainly there would be no cancer in the world."
