Prince Harry and Meghan Markle send little Archie to a super on-brand nursery school.

I saw photos of Prince William and Kate's little ones attending nursery school for the first time in London. Prince George in his royal shorts and Princess Charlotte in her pristine pinafore looked as if they had stepped out of the pages of The Little Princess. But Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's 2-year-old son Archie seems to be getting a more California-style education. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly send Archie to a preschool that teaches "emotional literacy," "mindfulness," and "sustainability."

Archie's school is perhaps less traditional than the posh Thomas Battersea attended by royal cousins across the pond, and according to the Mirror, even less by-the-book than the nearby California kindergarten that other celebrities often send their children to.

William and Kate may be bucking tradition by not forcing Prince George to attend a boarding school like theirs (unless he wants to).

It is not easy to maintain a modest lifestyle when your parents are two of the most famous people on the planet. But at least for now, 2-year-old Archie is keeping a low profile at his California preschool. A parent at the school told the Mirror that none of the other students even know (or care) that Archie is a member of the British royal family. That source said, "Unless Meghan is a Disney princess, they don't know and probably don't care that his parents are royalty."

The unnamed parent also noted that Meghan, Harry, and the other parents are laid back about the whole monarchy. 'Harry often drives Archie to and from school and seems like a good dad.'

Overall, Archie's school is branded by the Sussexes, emphasizing caring for each other and the environment. The classes include a garden with fruit trees, butterflies, and hummingbirds that the children tend, and they apparently teach everything from Spanish to dancing and coding.

But whether the atmosphere is London Prep or California New Age, at least the littlest royals are equally adorable.
