Kanye West made headlines last weekend when he claimed that he was not invited to his daughter Chicago's birthday party and that he was able to attend thanks to Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott, but not his ex-girlfriend Kim Kardashian.

As for Kardashian, she was reportedly surprised by West's claims. According to sources, he was always invited if he wanted to be.

And now a new source tells Us Weekly that Kardashian and his family are not thrilled with West's claims and recent behavior. Says the source, "Kanye has been causing a lot of drama with his family lately, and [they] aren't happy with what's happened in the last few days." According to the Kardashians, West is "out of control" and is making "private things" public.

West also previously claimed that his ex-girlfriend won't let him in the house, even when their oldest daughter, North, wants to show him something; according to a source for Us Weekly, she "doesn't deny him access to the kids." She "just wants more boundaries and structure, a set parenting plan."

Kardashian is not living in limbo right now after filing for divorce. She "hopes the divorce will be finalized soon," the source concluded. She is "ready to close that chapter for good."

Kardashian and West have four children together, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, and announced their separation in early 2021. Both stars then seemed to be moving on, with Kardashian reporting a surprising love affair with SNL comedian Pete Davidson and West flaunting a new relationship with actress Julia Fox.

But that's not all: West has also been rumored many times to want to get back together with his ex-wife, and has admitted it himself. It would not be particularly shocking to hear that his ex-wife finds it "strange."
