Despite the sudden announcement of their happy news to the world, it is clear that parenthood was not a spur-of-the-moment decision for this celebrity couple. Says a source, "Nick and Priyanka have wanted a baby for some time."

Another source told People, "This is a happy time for all. Nick and Priyanka are definitely ready for this new challenge in their lives, it's what they both wanted. The time is now, and we couldn't be more ready to raise our children."

He said.

That's good news, because apparently you can't really wing it with a small child.

Chopra actually strongly hinted a few months ago that they were expecting a bundle of joy, but she cleverly disguised the revelation as a joke on Netflix's Jonas Brothers Family Roast.

"You may not know this, but we're the only couple that hasn't had kids yet. I'm sorry, baby," and Jonas's face looked frightened.

"Nick and I... "The Baywatch actress continued, "... . to get drunk tonight and sleep tomorrow!"

she exclaimed.
