If you stopped hanging out with the Kardashians long ago, you would be forgiven. But don't worry.

In a saga that is not currently being aired, Kanye West previously tried to win back his ex-wife Kim Kardashian several times in public. He then began dating actress Julia Fox, but one source claimed that he was "trying to make Kim jealous by being very public with Julia."

Meanwhile, Kardashian has been dating comedian Pete Davidson almost quietly (they have not attended any official events together), and West is less than thrilled with this development. For example, when he wrote a lyric about punching Davidson.

Kardashian has reportedly put an end to all the drama, but she and her new boyfriend wish West well.

"Kim sincerely hopes that Kanye will be at peace with the end of his marriage and can focus on finding happiness and raising their children together in a more positive way, whether with Julia or someone else," a source told Page Six.

"She's not a fan of the idea of a family.

"She is concerned about how these things that are unfolding publicly on Kanye's part will affect the children in the future and feels any issues should be resolved privately."

West's actions "to convince Kim to return" are "actually bringing Pete and Kim closer together," says another source.

Of course, I am not privy to the private discussions going on there, but I get the feeling that making the exes' new relationship better is not the intended outcome for West. Well, let's hope for everyone's sake that this gets resolved soon.
