Prince Harry has left his home country, but is blending in with the customs of his new country.

The Duke of Sussex and his cousin Princess Eugenie were spotted together at the Super Bowl stands and appeared to be having a great time. According to body language expert Darren Stanton, this was a welcome relief from the stressful time the prince has been experiencing in recent years.

"Until relatively recently, Harry had shown many signs of anxiety and stress," Stanton told Marie Claire on behalf of Betfair Casino (opens in new tab).

"I used to see Harry's entire face and cheeks blotchy and red, which is a physiological emotional change and a visible sign of escape and flight syndrome. It can have a dramatic effect on the emotional state. However, since being in Los Angeles, Harry has shown moments of genuine joy and pure happiness when he and Megan step outside."

Watching the big game with his cousin apparently brought him the same sense of happiness. Stanton continues, "I got to see more of this side of Harry at the Super Bowl."

"He was genuinely happy to be there for the famous final, and being an avid sportsman himself, it's no wonder he was visibly enjoying himself."

To the expert, the Duke's expression betrays his delight, despite the mask covering his face. Stanton adds, "Despite the mask covering his face, you can see that he is still full of emotion, and there were moments when he was sitting side by side with his cousin Eugenie, when he showed genuine emotion." There is no denying that there is a strong bond between the two." This familiarity is evident in the fact that both Harry and Eugenie seem completely at ease around each other"

Stanton believes that life in California is a natural fit for the London-born royal. Says Stanton, "Since Harry headed to the US, he has learned to embrace the LA lifestyle and seems very relaxed."

"For example, at a match, Harry stopped wearing formal clothes and changed into jeans and trainers. He sits in a chair, one leg over the wall in front of him, with his feet quite far apart. This soft, relaxed posture shows that he is more than happy to sit back in the crowd and soak in the spectacle that is the Super Bowl, just like everyone else."

"Not only does it provide a moment of escape from reality, it gives Harry a chance to be himself. It gives Harry a chance to be himself. While there may be a part of Harry that still misses the UK, he now seems to have found a new level of peace. And that's what we all want.
