As someone whose birthday would be ruined without enough glitter, I fully approve of Jennifer Aniston's birthday girl outfit - although (sorry, that was awful, but I can't bring myself to delete it) it garnered mixed reviews.

The actress posted her own boomerang on Instagram, wearing a regular black top and a pair of very, very unusual pants in honor of her 53rd birthday. The pants in question are gold flared pants covered entirely in metallic laces that make up the background of the photo booth.

"Happy Birthday, Heavenly Creature," Julia Roberts wrote.

"Oh YEEEESSSSSS," added Juliette Lewis. Exactly the right birthday pants!" And wrote, "HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY to YOU!"

Whitney Cummings, on the other hand, was not at all pleased with Aniston's dress-up: "This is the first time I've questioned your judgment," she said. She said.
