What Kate Middleton and Prince William ate on their Seychelles honeymoon

Kate Middleton will have a busy upcoming travel season, with a solo trip to Denmark this week, followed by rumored Caribbean expeditions to countries such as Jamaica, the Bahamas, and Belize to celebrate the queen's platinum jubilee. These public trips will be greeted with much fanfare. However, Hello! has the scoop on a very private trip, namely her honeymoon in the Seychelles with her new husband Prince William.

Hello! reports that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge enjoyed a personal chef, sunset dining, and a lavish meal that cost 5,700 pounds. The royal couple stayed on North Island, a private island with 11 luxury villas, complete with "white sand beaches, crystal clear waters, and luxurious spa facilities." (On the island, William and Kate can choose from several five-star restaurants, "with a generously stocked pantry in the room and a dedicated chef," Hello!

"The £5,772 per night resort's restaurant with private candle-lit dining, Laid Back by Aquila Buck, where the gentle sounds of the ocean create a romantic evening," Hello! reports. 'Sunset Beach offers freshly baked hot pizzas, salads, and tapas-style barbecue snacks.' Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis will surely love it.

A personal chef is on hand for every guest to create customized menus and "tempting personalized meals," the outlet says. These freshly prepared meals would be delivered to the villa along with cocktails, fresh juices, and vintage champagne.

Rates at the resort start at about £5,772 per night, but the most exclusive villa, designed specifically for honeymooners ("most likely where William and Kate stayed," Harrow says) costs about £9,086 per night. [George and Amal Clooney and Salma Hayek also chose the Seychelles for their honeymoons.
