Lizzo launches reality show to find new backing dancers

There are a lot of people who would dream of being on stage with Rizzo, and the superstar knows it.

The singer (and dancer, songwriter, flutist, and actress) is launching a new reality show on Amazon Prime titled Watch Out for the Big Grrrls, in which women compete to be Rizzo's new Rizzo's new back-up dancers.

The contestants all had big bodies, which meant a lot to Lizzo, who was also the executive producer of the show.

"I BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE... TURN IT UP-this is the greatest moment of my career yet," she wrote on Instagram along with a trailer for the show. 'Everyone knows how hard it is to find dancers that look like me. But if it takes a TV show to show the world the value of us Big Grrrls, I'm in!!!WATCH OUT FOR THE BIG GRRRLS DROPS 3/25 ONLY ON @primevideo."

In the trailer, Rizzo says to the camera, "I am looking for dancers to join me on tour. I'm looking for dancers to join me on tour. Girls who look like me can't be represented. You have to roll up your sleeves and find out for yourself."

The clips then give equal previews of the emotional moments, the drama among the contestants, and the heartbreak of those who did not make it through.

Judging by the number of capitalized comments, people seem to be very, very interested in this piece. "I F****N LOVE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Taraji P. Henson wrote Hairstylist Shelby Swain commented, "YASSSSSSS. Exciting stuff.
