Chrissy Teigen has been on a difficult fertility journey, and the constant speculation about whether or not she is pregnant is not really welcome.

She and her husband, John Legend, have been incredibly open about the loss of their son Jack in 2020, when Teigen was in her third trimester of pregnancy. Since then, the model, chef, and mother of two has also shared the painful experience she experienced during her latest endometriosis surgery, which she underwent the week Jack was due.

And now Teigen has admitted to undergoing IVF again (Luna and Miles were both conceived through IVF). IVF causes bloating and can sometimes look like a pregnancy bump. For this reason, people have repeatedly asked her if she is pregnant, which is particularly insensitive because, as she says, it is "the opposite of pregnancy."

Starr posted a photo of herself stretching on a chair on Instagram, writing, "Hiiii. I posted it on my story to let everyone know I'm going through an IVF cycle.

"Honestly, I don't hate injections. ...... They make me feel like a doctor or chemist. ...... But I have terrible abdominal bloating, so I don't want them to ask me if I'm pregnant.

"But please don't ask people if they are pregnant either. The internet is a wild place and I've been yelled at for saying this in the comments, but I'm not the poor woman who has to look you in the eye with tears in her eyes to tell you. In any case, I LOVE YOU?"
