Kate Middleton opens up about her "motherly guilt" when making decisions for her children.

For the Duchess of Cambridge, with three young children and a full-time job as an active royal, striking the right balance can sometimes be difficult - as it is for anyone with a busy schedule, parent or not.

Appearing on Giovanna Fletcher's "Happy Mum, Happy Baby" podcast in 2020, Kate Middleton fully admitted that she sometimes feels what the host calls "mommy guilt."

"Yeah, absolutely, people who aren't as mothers actually lie," the Duchess said (via The Mirror). 'Yeah, all the time. Even this morning, when George and Charlotte came to visit the daycare, they said, 'Mom, why aren't you taking us to school this morning? ' It's something we hear over and over again from moms who aren't necessarily working and aren't necessarily being pulled in the direction of having to juggle work and family."

[6 [The Duchess also explained that she struggles with the exact same dilemma as other parents when faced with a decision as an adult and not sure if it is the right one. She told Fletcher, "[You] are constantly questioning your own decisions and judgments, and I think that starts from the moment you have a baby."

Middleton then spoke of how happy the children are to be surrounded by close family and, yes, even a royal nanny. 'The more safe, loving, caring people the children have around them, the better.' [We all have good days and bad days, and being around other people who aren't struggling on those days can diminish them.

"I think it makes a huge difference for a child to be as constant and happy as possible. it takes a village, etc., etc.
