Kate Middleton jokes that Prince William is worried about having another baby

OMG

As you know, Kate Middleton is currently on a two-day royal tour of Denmark. The focus of the trip is on early childhood, one of the main objectives she supports.

Now, apparently, the Duchess of Cambridge told one of the people she met during her visit that Prince William gets a little annoyed when his wife meets his young children in official settings. If you heard a noise, it was just my jaw hitting the floor.

"At one engagement today, the Duchess of Cambridge confessed she still gets very grumpy," tweeted Rebecca English of the Daily Mail. Upon further research, it seems that "broody" does not simply mean feeling a bit emo, but is a metaphor for a chicken when it wants to lay a lot of eggs. Ironically, I got this definition from the Cambridge Dictionary. See, it all lines up.

"Kate said this about working with young people.

"'William is always worried that I'm going to meet a preteen. I come home and say, 'Let's have another one.'"

As you are well aware, the Cambridges have three children: George, Charlotte, and Louis. But this Danish chat is not the first time the Duchess has used the word "broody" in public. She also uttered the word after meeting her 5-month-old child in 2019.

And in February 2021, there were reports that the royal couple is eyeing a fourth child. Nevertheless, royal experts suggested in September 2021 that they did not expect a fourth Cambridge baby. Well, we will just have to wait and see about that.
